Tasting Notes

Sight: The loose leaf of this tea has black tea leaves as its base, and a variety of other ingredients that have been added to give the tea its chocolate almond flavour. The pieces are all different shapes and sizes, and range from white to dark brown in colour. The tea steeps a light green-ish brown colour.

Smell: As you may guess, the loose leaf smells chocolatey and nutty. It makes for a very sweet and decadent aroma. Steeping the tea brings out the chocolate-covered almond smell even more.

Taste: I’m impressed! This tea actually tastes like I’ve steeped a chocolate-covered almond. It’s sweet, decadent, and nutty. There’s also no bitterness when steeped correctly.

Rating:

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Not much of an explanation needed. If you like chocolate covered almonds, you’ll absolutely love this tea.

Other Notes:

I can just imagine that this would make an excellent latte. I haven’t done it yet, but I will most certainly be adding this tea to hot chocolate.
