Steep for 3-5 minutes

Observations

Sight: This loose leaf is on the smaller size, with little pieces of each ingredient. It’s a mix of warm tones, from speckles of bright red to leaves of a deep brown. True to its name, the tea steeps a pomegranate red colour.

Smell: The loose leaf smells fruity and sweet. It makes me think of dried cranberries, though I know it’s pomegranate that I’m smelling. I’m left with a liquid that smells quite similar, but less strong. I was reminded slightly of grape-flavoured candies.

Taste: This tea is sweet and fruity like its smell suggests, but is also prominently tart; almost citrusy in flavour.

Rating:

⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Not a fan of the tartness, but the flavours all blend together nicely and make for a good tea overall.

Notes:

Would make a very nice iced tea and pair nicely with something minty.
