Observations

Sight: You get to see the stark contrast between black and white tea leaves in this loose leaf. The white tea leaves are large and a pale, muted green in colour, whereas the black tea leaves are just a fraction of the size and much darker brown. The loose leaf has cornflower petals—the same colour as the white tea leaves—distributed throughout with little, round balls of pink peppercorns that give the loose leaf a pop of red colour. The tea steeps a deep red-orange colour.

Smell: I would buy a product with this scent. It’s not too strong, but it’s a perfect balance of black tea with sweet and citrusy notes of bergamot.

Taste: This is a very mild tea. It has a comforting earl grey flavour with smooth, citrusy undertones, but it’s not spicy like I would’ve expected!

Rating:

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I really enjoyed the experience of this tea. It definitely has the essence of winter.

Notes:

I wonder what it would taste like as a London Fog latte?
