Observations

Sight: The loose leaf is pretty uniform in size and the mixed ingredients find harmony in various shades of the colour brown. I can identify the popped rice and toasted almonds among other things. Steeping the tea brings out an orange colour in the loose leaf, and leaves you with a cherry red liquid.

Smell: The loose leaf smells sweet and nutty, and that’s perfect for a winter’s day. I did this tasting with my mother, and she said that it smelled sort of like apples and cinnamon. I agree and would like to add that it also has a bit of a malty undertone.

Taste: The tea is most definitely tart and makes me think of apples and cinnamon. The other ingredients only add to the overall flavour. My mom said that the tea, “tastes like Christmas.”

Rating:

⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Personally, I’m not overly fond of the tartness, but I would be happy to drink it again nonetheless. This is a very well-crafted tea.
