Tasting Notes

Sight: This loose leaf is warm and caramel-toned in terms of colour. The size of each of the pieces vary quite a bit. Some of them are very small, while others are quite large. The tea steeps a very pale orange colour.

Smell: The loose leaf has a sweet and buttery scent. It’s almost popcorn-like? I can smell the raisins too. As the tea steeps, the smell becomes more nutty and malty.

Taste: This tea is sweet and nutty. I’m also getting some tart fruitiness from all the berries. Definitely has essence of caramel shortbread.

Rating:

⭐ ⭐

It’s not my personal favourite—I think the tartness throws me off a little—but I would still recommend giving this tea a try if you like caramel shortbread.
