Hello friends and welcome to day five of 24 Days of Tea Tasting! Today’s tea is Chocolate Chili Chai.
Disclaimer: I do not claim to have any real expertise when it comes to tea. This is just for fun.

Tasting Notes
Sight: Long, twisted tea leaves make up most of the loose leaf. Flecks of red from the peppercorns and chili give this tea a pop of colour, and mini chocolate chips sprinkled throughout help create a balance that makes this tea quite pleasing to look at. It steeps a deep orange-brown colour.
Smell: Smells dominantly of chocolate. Very sweet and decadent. I cannot smell the chili or any of the other ingredients. As it steeps, the chili becomes more prominent.
Taste: Black tea is what I first taste upon taking a sip. This tea contrasts the spiciness of the chili with the decadence of the chocolate to create a very interesting flavour profile.
Rating:
⭐ ⭐ ⭐
A perfect balance of decadent and spicy.
Notes:
Would taste really nice if added to hot chocolate.
